49cc mini chopper engine problems?
i have a 49ccmini chopper. there is soemthing wrong with the engine. it isnt pushing out any power. whe n i pick the tire of the ground it bearly goes anywhere but it is running full throttle. and when i sit on it. it goes less than 1mph for about 3 feet and then stop still running full throttle. the motor sounds like it is working itself todeath but it just wont go. i was wonder what the problem could be. it is bugging me that it doesnt work. someone please help. if you think you can help but you dont quite understand what is going on just let me know and i will clarrify please someone help me i am desprate i just want to set the darn thing on fire it is driving me nuts. and i dont know squat about this stuff. thanx
The centrifugal clutch is slipping or worn out. Slipping can be due to oil inside the clutch, or shoes are worn.
You can spray some brake cleaner into the clutch bell and try to clean it, however if that doesn’t work you must remove the clutch and replace the shoes inside.
