why did my mini chopper (50cc) start leaking gas from the carb&air filter area?
First i noticed the throtle started being unresponsive and the bike would stop running when i would stop. I’m guessing the air filter might be clogged,but why is it leaking gas from the carburetor? PLEASE help,its my only way to get to work:)
simple fix the float is stuck open allowing fuel to keep pouring in the float bowl.. try this, lighty tap with a plastic handle on a tool at the bottom of the carb, float bowl area. tap untill the float unsticks might take a few times… or if you are mechanically inclined take the carb off, remove the float bowl and clean out the junk/gum/deposits built up in there.. usually from old gas you have in the bike from not riding it much.
