i got this goped from a friend and the engine is missing the pull start and the clutch and the carb………?
im not sure what model goped it is..i know its dark blue has black rims and solid uninflatable wheels..the engine that was on it is a zenoah 22.9cc i dont believe it is fixable for im not sure what the model is…im curious..can i use a differnt brand of motor cause i keep finding different ones and they are all too damn expensive..talking like 199.00-300 bucks just for the motor..rediculous!!so i was wondering..can i buy something cheaper or even modify a high powered weed eater motor and make that work??..did i mention its spindle driven??..any information on this would be of great help or even if someone has a motor that will work and is in working condition for sale i would be interested in buying it but im not willing to pay more than 30 bucks for a used motor…thanks.

There are that many Taiwonky bikes on the market today, it would nearly be impossible to tell one from the other without a picture. Even with a picture it would be hard.
You may be able to adapt a weed eater motor, but you would need extensive bracketry, and a lot of fiddly bits, such as modifying a throttle cable, adapting a spindle to fit onto the motor, and depending on your skills, you may be out of your depths. Your $30 motor could easily turn into $100 by the time you modify things and buy the parts you need to make it work.
