Yamaha Raptor 700 loading on Dodge Ram Truck?
My friend was telling me that the yamaha raptor wont be able to climb up the ramp to the dodge ram truck slowly. He said that the only way to have it up there is to “jump start” and then drive up the ramp to get on the bed because it doesnt have 4×4.
is that true?!
I dont want to buy a trailer just to carry that ATV.. i can just have it loaded on the bed of my truck to save money and space.
is he telling the truth or just saying that to make me get the brute force 650 which he have right now?
You can drive a lawnmower up a ramp into the bed of a truck if you really want to. There are a lot more factors to this than just having the ATV be 2wd. Things such as ramp incline & tailgate angle come into factor. Ways to fix this is to get longer ramps, or to back the truck into a ditch with normal ramps to reduce the ramp incline.
Your buddy just wants you to have the same ATV i would imagine…. which also isn’t a bad thing.
